Whether it’s the perfect gift for someone special or something for yourself, here is a list of useful expressions to help you find just what you’re looking for as you stroll through the malls and check out chic boutiques.

I’m just looking. This is a great response to “Can I help you find anything?” if you are not sure what you want to buy.

Where are your fitting rooms? Ask the salesperson this question if you want to try on that outfit before you buy it. In the UK, though, you might want to ask for the changing rooms.

Does this come in other colors? Not everybody likes plain old black and white. Ask a salesperson this if you’ve found something you really like, but want it in a different color.

Do you have this in other sizes? You’ve found the perfect holiday outfit… if only they had your size! Ask this to a shop assistant, and he or she may be able to locate one that’s the perfect fit.

Do you have any of these in stock? You see it in the display, but you can’t find it in the store! Don’t panic. Ask an assistant if there are any left in stock. Maybe there are some hiding in the storage room.

Can I put this on hold? Not sure if you’ve found the perfect gift? Just ask the sales assistants to “put it on hold”, and they will put the item aside for you for one or two days. That way, it can’t disappear as you continue your search.

I’d like a gift receipt for this. Upon your request, most stores provide a gift receipt, which does not list any prices. So, just in case your friend decides that gift of yours isn’t so perfect after all, he or she can exchange or return it without a problem. But, if not, they’ll never know how much you paid!

Can I get a price check for this? Can’t find a price tag on the item you’re looking at? Ask the cashier this question, and he or she will check the price for you.

What’s your return policy? Before you buy that gift, make sure you know whether or not it can be returned or exchanged by asking the cashier this question.

Do you provide gift-wrapping? No time to wrap your gifts? No worries! Many stores provide gift-wrapping services to their customers, especially during the busy holiday season.

Marital relationship comes to a standstill on many occasions due to insecurities. Couples suffer from relationship depression because they fail to understand what is going wrong between them. One of the major signs of insecurity in a relationship is when there is a discord between the couple. This leads to constant and frivolous arguments.

Romantic relationship is an enjoyable experience but most of the time it is short-lived. One of the many reasons for relationship failure is insecurity. There are many reasons for insecurity.

1) The husband or the partner is not able to spend enough time with the wife. She may feel that the partner is avoiding her or making excuses not to spend quality time at home. The weekend maybe planned to be spent with his family or the boyfriend may spend time with his own circle of friends. All this adds to the stress in the relationship. The image in the woman’s mind is that he has time for everyone but not for her. Her disappointments add up slowly making her lonely and depressed.

2) Most men feel that once a relationship is established like marriage vows are exchanged or physical needs are satisfied, that is all there is to the woman. She is supposed to understand that he needs to be alone with his friends. He doesn’t always want her to tag along with him. But the woman’s mind is not tuned like a man’s. She needs comforting, understanding and most of all appreciation.

3) A good-looking colleague, an old classmate and even a sexy neighbor can bring about a total change in a romantic relationship. The husband or wife should understand that fooling around or even flirting with the outsider does hurt the partner. Some people do it just to tease the partner but at times, if the partner is not in the mood for a joke, it can cause insecurities.

4) Women tend to be very insecure about their looks, height, weight and age. She enjoys a little bit of adulation from the man of her dreams. But if the man prefers spending time watching a game on TV or reading a book at bedtime, then she cannot always be blamed for every heated argument.

5) There are some people who need more assurance than others. This happens when the romantic relationship is just blossoming and the trust in the relationship is yet to develop. It is necessary to reinforce the love and commitment so that she understands the nature of the relationship.

6) Trust in a relationship bridges the life of the couple. This should never be tampered with.

7) Insecurities occur when partners take one another for granted.

8) The best way to overcome insecurity is to talk things out. Communication is the only means of solving any kind of marital problem.

Love matures at a different pace and at various levels. Usually most people believe and agree that women mature faster emotionally than men. This is the reason why most women prefer older men. Young men are usually labeled as brash and are devoid of an emotional commitment. They usually are turned on by a mature woman’s body.

A mature man can be in his twenties too. This shouldn’t be surprising. The maturity of a person depends on his experiences in life, his social environment and his interactions with his parents. Maturity in a relationship takes time but its foundation gets strengthened if the partners are compatible. A couple’s lifestyles, nature, expectations out of life all add to how the relationship is going to grow, develop and mature.

Mature friendship can also lead to a good relationship. It is not true that only mature men love younger women. Women too like mature men. It is interpreted that when women love older men, their love extends to a father figure. These women like to be protected, pampered and well looked after. Men who like younger women usually want to feel youthful again. Their love is little emotional and more of a physical kind. Young men who prefer older women indicate that they are emotionally mature and it shows an attachment to a mother-like figure.

We all are seeking love. But growing in a love relationship is the greatest gift of all time. A love that stands through time, that doesn’t break with any kind of emotional turmoil and matures like a delicious fruit is truly the foundation of a mature romantic relationship.

Is it that easy to find mature love?

Nothing is easy in life and finding love is the toughest of all. But if you share a good rapport with your partner, develop your own levels of maturity then it is possible. You can try by stop throwing temper tantrums, being overly demanding, constantly criticizing your partner’s habit and complaining about everything in life. Instead learn to be a little quiet, pay attention to your partner’s needs and avoid reacting to situations like you always do. The difference in your behavior will be greatly noticed and appreciated.

Take time off to listen to your partner’s needs both emotional and physical. Keep the channels of communication always open and enjoy the qualities of your partner. You will slowly understand what truly mature love is.
