I Hate You So Much, Hate In Relationship

Lyrics of songs like “I hate you” and “Congratulations I hate you” are hummed regularly. Ringtones of such songs buzz around and they are listed as favorites by many. Why is it so?

Hate is a very strong feeling and that arises due to deep emotions. Where is there is love, there is hate. Hate in a relationship is not uncommon. Uncommunicative partners, cheating spouses, abusive husbands and alcoholic partners create a feeling of disgust. These feelings slowly develop into hatred over a period of time.

A hard break-up or lack of commitment in a long term relationship can cause feelings of hatred as the partner certainly feels used. Stringing along someone for years and then neglecting or ill-treating them is a sign that they have been taken for granted. This evokes hatred.

Most of the time, a person is hated bitterly because he or she is callous, selfish and pompous by nature. If they were sensitive and caring enough then those around wouldn’t be so bitter and hateful. Hatred is the last stop and there is nothing beyond that. Once a person is hated, it is very difficult for the spouse or lover to love them back again. The veil of hate in a relationship marks the end of a commitment.

Carrying the feelings of hate bottled inside is also extremely painful. There is anger and hurt within and they usually stay locked in for years. Some can practice self control while others display it with violent actions and behavior. Even self control can cause damage because unconsciously a person continues to play the events in their mind that lead to this hatred.

The feelings “I hate you so much” can be channelized with forgiveness. This is not an easy task but a process that a person should undertake not for the person they hate but for their own mental peace. Resenting someone till death is unhealthy and gives rise to physical pain and discomfort. A person can suffer from hypertension, high blood pressure and even stroke.

So for your own wellbeing and happiness, slowly channelize the hatred you have towards a person and forgive them in your heart. Just remember that they are not worth fighting for. When they never looked back to think about you, then they are not worth thinking about either.
